Born and raised in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Blaise obtained his Masters of Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018. Blaise has been playing soccer for over 20 years, climbing for 6 years, and more recently has enjoyed trail and road running, highlighted by completing the East Coast Trail 50km ultramarathon in 2023.
Blaise’s clinical practice is influenced by his experiences in sports and performance, which have offered personal and professional insight into assessing, treating, and overcoming an array of traumatic, chronic, and overuse injuries.
Whether his clients are avid walkers, competitive athletes, casual runners, or anywhere in-between, Blaise takes pride in providing a thorough biomechanical assessment. This form of assessment guides a treatment plan that is designed to help his clients move better, feel better, and feel more empowered as they recover from injury. To help with pain and engaging with activity, Blaise uses specific tailored exercises, a variety of manual techniques, dry needling, and education to help clients understand their body and overcome their injury.

Originally from the Goulds, Krissy completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University in 2002. After working in the Health & Fitness industry for a year, she completed her Masters Degree in Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta in 2006.
Krissy started her physiotherapist career working at one of Canada’s largest rehabilitation hospitals, “The Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital” in Edmonton Alberta (2006-2010), where she gained valuable experience working alongside orthopedic surgeons, overseeing patients after severe trauma, amputations, complex joint replacements and helped rehabilitate “Canadian Armed Forces” personnel who sustained complex injuries overseas.
In 2010 Krissy moved to Grand Cayman for a year working with a multi-disciplinary team in a Sports and Orthopedic injury Center. While in the Caribbean she became the Head Physiotherapist for the Cayman Rugby Football Union, travelling with and providing care for their national teams.
Krissy returned to St. John’s NL in 2011 where she currently practices at Riverside Therapeutics on Waterford Bridge Road. Riverside Therapeutics is an Orthopedic & Sports Injury clinic where Krissy maintains a full-time caseload while overseeing the functional aspect of the clinic with her colleague Eric Lamme.

One of Krissy’s main areas of focus is therapeutic exercises and core stabilization. She is committed to treating the injury as well as figuring out the cause, therefore preventing re-injury.
Krissy is an avid runner. She is a member and volunteers with local running club “Athletics North East”. Growing up, she was a competitive figure skater, played provincial soccer and was a University and National-level Track and Field and Cross country athlete. She continues to compete locally from 5km to the marathon distances.

My journey as a Massage Therapist started when I received my certification here in, my home province, Newfoundland. Ever since I was young I’ve always had a passion for caring for people and helping them be their best selves. Whilst completing my studies at Eastern Academy, I realized my true passion and pushed myself to graduate with honors, further proving to myself that this was the career I was chosen for. During my student clinical I discovered I had a talent for helping clients with a variety of conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s, and sport and occupational injuries. Born and raised in St. John’s Newfoundland, Colin attended Memorial University before obtaining his Masters of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University. Colin has an extensive background in athletic pursuits, having played a wide variety of team sports at a competitive level before transitioning to athletics. His recent interests lie in road running and triathlon.
Colin is passionate about client-centered care and exercise-based rehabilitation. He uses his educational, professional, and personal experiences in the world of sports and performance to inform his practice. Outside of athletic rehabilitation, Colin has a background in various clinical settings including post-surgical, long-term care, and chronic pain management.
